Stuck in a soulless job at a local town council, Ryan Kor Kor teams up with the homeless Peng, who claims to be an alien. As the unlikely duo hunt for the extraterrestrial's doomsday device, they run into a rabid doomsday cult, top-secret government agents, and surprising allies who join their madcap adventure through Singapore.

  • Starting as the 2nd Assistant Director of A Yellow Bird (In Competition, Cannes Semaine de la Critique 2016), Cheng Chai Hong created, wrote, and directed his first comedy in 2017, the web series Average Guys, which garnered 300k views.

    He followed Average Guys up with another hit web series, Neighbourhood Watch Task Force (2019; 330k views) and the short film “The Day the Rhythm Went Away” (2021), nominated for Best Director and Best Film at the National Youth Film Awards (Singapore). We Can Save the World!!! is his first feature film.
